Just a little update.
I promised that I was not going to blow up your email inbox, BUT I’m over due for an update to you all. Ha-ha!
CURRENTLY WRITING!
At the beginning of this month, I joined Autocrit’s Novel 90 Writing Challenge: Fall 2025. In the next 90 days, I am going to attempt to plan, write, and edit a book.
I chose a story my mind has been working on since May of 2024! It’s a psychological, action-thriller that I’m currently calling Dead Men Still Scream.
Here’s the premise of the story:
Luke, a former mercenary turned family man, struggles with PTSD, marital collapse, and the pull of dangerous work; a local confrontation spirals into a violent take-down, a European assassination job, and a final, tragic unraveling that leaves him accused and alone. The story follows Luke’s attempt to protect his family and do one last profitable job, only to discover betrayals that destroy his life.
Now, this is still a pretty new story that I’m working on. With that being said, nothing is set in stone yet.
Having only written a little over seven thousand words, 7,010 to be exact, I have a long way to go. The goal is to get up to 25,000 words by December 31st. I’m hoping to turn this piece of work into a novella.
